Labs

Test results will be discussed with you at your next appointment. An additional bill from the laboratory may apply; this will be handled directly through them.

Referrals

All referrals are to be done as soon as possible. If it is an emergency, we will make an appointment for you before you leave our office.

Otherwise, please allow our office 2 to 3 business days to process your referrals. Some insurance companies require that we pre-authorize your referrals and this does cause a delay. However if you have not heard from our staff with 3 business days please, call our office for inquiries.

Messages/Calls

All phone calls will be returned within one to two business days. Please leave an accurate phone number and detailed message on the nurse phone or with the front desk.

All calls require we pull your medical chart, in order to properly help you. We then forward the information to your provider for the proper treatment advice. If it is an emergency please indicate this right away.

 

Charges/Billing

All charges are payable at the time of service. If you have insurance, we are contracted by your insurance company to collect your co-payment at the time of service. For covered services, we will bill your insurance company, however all the accounts must be paid within 60 days. Three patient balance statements/notices will be mailed to the address on file.

 

Medication Refills

Please call your pharmacy first for all medication refills, even when you are out of refills. Your pharmacy will contact our office for your refill status. Refill requests should be handled during office hours. Some medications require that you see a doctor. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for refill request.

 

Nights/After Hours

When you have an emergency after our clinic is closed, please report to the nearest emergency room or call 911. A doctor can be reached by calling phone number: (512) 818-3962 and someone will return your call. All minor problems and refills on medications should be addressed during clinic hours
